How Ghosting Became the Norm

I hated ghosting before it even became a thing. It was plain rude not to answer. I couldn’t understand it. I thought everyone had to answer — it was about manners and respect.
Today, ghosting is so commonplace it barely registers. I’m so used to friends and family and businesses ghosting me that I no longer even care. When someone does respond they instantly become my best friend.
