I’ve had a lot of different managers over the years and it’s never easy for someone like me who, instinctively, hates authority and dislikes a hierarchical structure designed to make you feel inferior. But, hey, these are the systems widely accepted and you’re supposed to swallow them wholeheartedly (especially when you’re green).
